Design and implement a Global Payroll Strategy with Process requirements that satisfies operational needs as well as internal, external and statutory audits. Manage system implementations including but not limited to Payroll Outsourced arrangements, Payroll In-House Systems, Time and Attendance Systems and Core HR changes to the extent they impact payroll. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for payroll administration as well as remuneration taxation, particularly at the executive and global mobility levels.

Responsibilities also include Global Equity Tax Administration, Global Equity Chargeback Coordination with Finance, Global Equity payroll reporting and foreign assignment elements including Expatriate Tax, Hypothetical Tax Calculations and Tax Equalization Payments.


The responsibilities for this critical role include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain the integrity of payroll processing through leadership, direction and support to the Payroll team members globally.
• Back up review US payroll general ledger journal entry, amended returns and notice logs.  Support the resolution of stale or difficult issues.
• Serve as point person for cash flow variance as it relates to Global Payroll
• Develop and maintain strategy for Global Payroll that increases visibility of results while streamlining processes
• Serve as vendor relationship liaison for Payroll, Time and Attendance, Tax Credit, and VOE outsource providers
• Participate in product design and implementation for systems impacting payroll
• Consult on Global Equity Tax Matters with the multidisciplinary team members in HR, Accounting, Tax and Legal
• Research the need for new or revised recharge agreements as they relate to equity
• Oversee the allocation of equity for mobile employees
• Initiate or consult on Payroll policy changes as needed
• Coordinate home and host country payroll setup for foreign assignments including Expatriate Tax, Hypothetical Tax Calculations and Tax Equalization Payments
• Provide support for global key SOX control development 
• Serve as the company lead for the IRS employment audit
• Support global payroll audits both internal and statutory

Requirements:
  • Four year degree in a business related field with management experience preferably in a global payroll processing or Human Resource environment. 
  • Deep understanding of remuneration taxes, Payroll processes, Payroll systems, Payroll outsourcing, HR processes, HR systems. 
  • Requires very strong verbal and written communications skills with emphasis on interpersonal skills related to confidentiality and sensitive situations. 
  • Experience in analytical reporting and strong personal computing skills are necessary. 
  • Position requires a motivated individual who can work in a fast paced environment without direct supervision.
