Our Logistic Material Analyst will be responsible for all material planning requirements and analytics within the Mexico Service Organization in regards to RDC (Depot/Service Warehouse) Planning, Field (Stocking Bins) Planning, and Repair Depot Schedule Planning. This position will be located in North Canton, Ohio and provide material and analytical support for the Mexico Region. The objective is to coordinate the recruitment and training of this individual to coincide with the implementation of the new service stack for Mexico Service which includes Oracle and LMS planning systems. 

This position will manage material supply chain information and maintain strict inventory control methods to manage $8 million of service material in the country and will be responsible for utilizing the new service stack of systems (LMS and Oracle) to plan material for the RDC service warehouse in Mexico and Field Planning stocking levels for Service Technician stocking as well as local bin stocking. 

The Logistics Material Analyst will drive operational, financial, and material planning alignment in the service organization, improve customer satisfaction as well as operational efficiency with improved inventory controls, accurate field planning and the centralized support network within GSL.

Requirements: 
  • Must be bi-lingual: Spanish and English 
  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Inventory Management or Materials Management in a manufacturing/service environment. 
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills - filtering, grouping/subtotals, conditional formats, charts, and Pivot Tables. 
  • Strong analytical skills, problem identification, solving 
  • Strong Multi-tasking, strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Strong understanding of supply chain inventory management and replenishment methodologies. 
  • Experience working with ERP Systems (Oracle experience is a plus) 
  • Microsoft Office Suit (Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to create reporting, read the data, and communicate the impact to the overall business. 

 Additional (Not Required) Qualifications: 
  • Project Management – Leading small to Medium Scale projects. 
  • Documentation - develop/document/implement standard processes using process mapping and value stream mapping tools. 
  • Material Processes - bill of materials, MPS, MRP, purchasing, Principals of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. 
  • Microsoft Access experience is a plus. 
  • Financial & Working Capital Analysis
