Global Customer Financing: This position is the principal support to the Director, Risk Management for developing and implementing customer financing solutions for all Diebold Nixdorf (“DN”) customers globally.  Position will assist in the sourcing, development and maintenance of relationships with banks and finance companies in order to develop and implement outsourced customer finance programs.  Position will play a key role in the execution of the company’s ATMaaS strategy whilst minimizing the use of company capital.  In addition, the position will lead on the identification and sale of existing Finance Receivables to banks and other third parties to support company cash flow.


Global Insurance / Risk Management: This position will work closely with the company’s Risk Management consultants to ensure an effective and comprehensive risk management program for the company. This shall involve assistance with identifying, measuring and managing insurable risks, analyzing risk / insurance problems and implementing risk solutions that help optimize operations and program costs, including the annual renewal of the company’s insurance policies.  


Treasury Projects: This person manages and participates in other projects as assigned by the Director, Risk Management. 



Some essential functions of this role include:


Responsibility:  Customer Financing

Tasks: Work with existing and identified leasing / finance company vendors to ensure their detailed understanding of company strategy around leasing and financing; work with internal and external parties in the design and implementation of customer financing programs to be rolled out to global subsidiaries; lead on the identification and sale of Finance Receivables to banks and other financial institutions to provide capital to the company 


Responsibility:  Customer Financing

Tasks: In conjunction with the Director, Risk Management, work with global sales leaders to provide financing solutions to their customers.  Communicate new strategies to finance leadership ensuring proper accounting, tax, legal and finance understanding and support. Provide the highest quality of customer service to internal customers and effectively communicate with all levels of management.


Responsibility:  Insurance / Risk Management

Tasks: In conjunction with the Director, Risk Management, lead the company’s global insurance program: leading role in insurance renewal exposure gathering and renewal execution process; key interface for insurance brokers and risk management consultants; key internal contact for insurance expertise and advice on insurance clauses in contracts; work with global business units to ensure local insurance policies are renewed in a timely fashion as well as identifying optimization and cost savings opportunities.


Responsibility:  Insurance / Risk Management

Tasks: Lead for Treasury on the roll-out of the company’s identified strategies to reduce losses incurred on Auto and Workers’ Compensation claims to be implemented in conjunction with Risk Management consultants and cross-functional DN team.


ResponsibilityTreasury Projects

Tasks: Participate and lead other treasury team projects as assigned by the Director, Risk Management. 



Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or a related field.  
  • 5 or more years in corporate finance. 
  • Leasing and / or insurance experience advantageous. 
  • Ability to confidently and professionally represent the company to third parties and build relationships internally and externally. 
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must to be comfortable talking to senior levels of management with ability to conceptualize solutions and explain financial concepts to non-subject matter experts. 
  • Demonstrated leadership potential. 
  • Demonstrated participation and leadership in large, complex projects involving cross-functional teams. 
  • Keen interest in international business and cultures. Multi-language skills a strong advantage but not essential. 
  • Strong team ethic and ability to work remotely from direct line management are essential.
  • Less than 20% travel, both domestic and international
