As a U.S. Regional Solution Sales Domain expert, you will be responsible for selling Transaction Engine within existing Diebold Nixdorf customers and expanding our product and services portfolio into new opportunities and logos. This unique position is not only customer facing, but is integrated closely with cross-functional organizations to ensure market feedback is incorporated into future product and portfolio offerings and go-to-market strategies are fulfilled for efficient sales enablement. 

Location: This will be a remote based position

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop a strong expertise of ideal customer profile (ICP), target buyers, domain knowledge, products, services and competitors 
  • Accountable for supporting the U.S. regional sales team to drive sales of Transaction Engine to DN‘s existing account base as well as new targets & prospects within the banking industry to achieve assigned sales quota 
  • Engage with sales and marketing to prospect, discover, and qualify land and expand opportunities to build and maintain pipeline growth for new products and services portfolios 
  • Work closely with product management to ensure market requirements are prioritized accordingly, provide customer feedback for solution enhancements and clearly articulate solution roadmap and capabilities 
  • Specialization in Transaction Engine of DN's portfolio and can speak in technical detail about the portfolio of products and their fit with prospective accounts 
  • Implement a consultative, solution selling approach in order to identify additional opportunities outside of expertise 
  • Engage client's relevant business functions, with technical understanding of the customer’s business 
  • Speak to assigned domain of expertise with technical understanding of DN’s products and services 
  • Ability to speak to architecture diagrams, demonstrating how the relevant DN products and services will fit within the client environment 
  • Negotiation and pricing of contracts (requiring upskilling in this area as needed) 
  • Consistent use of CRM, Salesforce.com to track and manage opportunities 
  • Consistently meet or exceed growth sales objectives and monthly key performance indicator

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor equivalent and/or work experience. MBA preferred  
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, solution design, go-to-market or sales of complex business software / IT solutions  
  • Strong knowledge of the financial industry, retail banking operations outsourcing and services trends within these industries 
  • Creativity needed to anticipate market trends and needs and identify new solutions to satisfy those needs  
  • A proven track record for meeting and exceeding performance objectives 
  • Possess a high level of demonstrated leadership, oral and written communication, presentation, critical thinking and strategic planning skills  
  • Must be assertive, influential and able to motivate all levels of associates, peers and executive leadership 
  • Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales cycles in a dynamic, consultative and competitive market 
  • Proficient in all MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Skype, and Zoom 
  • Possess experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce to maximize opportunities 
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 50% 
  • Understands the mechanics, interactions and processes involved in transaction process. 
  • Has sold or delivered transaction based software solutions
  • Capable of engaging at senior levels of an organization to articulate the benefits and influence a customer’s thinking on transaction middleware
