As a Systems Specialist for Professional Services you will be responsible for the integration of our Managed and Integrated Service solutions with Diebold Nixdorf Applications. As well as providing a common base image for use by Diebold Nixdorf North America Service Organization. This includes, integrating, packaging, testing, documenting, implementing and supporting our software deliverables. Reporting directly to the Manager of Software and Maintenance Support, you will work closely with all Integrated and Managed Services Operational teams. You will work in partnership with customers while collaborating with service, software development, sales and support personnel and various business units throughout Diebold Nixdorf. Diebold Nixdorf's Professional Services organization was developed in direct response to our customers’ business needs, enabling us to provide turn-key support where and when our customers need it. Integrated Services provide outsourcing solutions integrating cross-disciplinary functions into comprehensive customer solutions that include both hardware and software capabilities. Managed Services bring all Diebold Nixdorf resources to any project, large or small, providing ATM software customization and installation, software product integration, system/platform integration, pre-load, systems
implementation, and project management.

The ideal candidate is someone with several years’ experience creating custom scripts for packaging software for installation and remote deployment. Additionally the selected candidate must possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills and must be able to work in an agile team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and supporting Base Images to be utilized by the Diebold Nixdorf North America Service Organization

  • Creating software packages for consistent installation with efforts to reduce installation time

  • Provide and discuss technical information relevant to technical issues

  • Maintaining of a software repository as it relates to the Release Management

  • Provide direction and support to Project Management teams as they prepare for customer implementations

  • Provide technical troubleshooting and escalation to resolve customer or systems product issues

  • Interface with Product Management, Service Operations, and Field Service teams to integrate new service offerings

  • Participate in establishment of operations standards and procedures

  • Provide support and guidance to sales team to ensure technical accuracy, software capability and adherence to established professional service and software standards

  • Responsible for all activities relating to a Diebold Nixdorf's systems implementations, customization and upgrades as defined by the Release Management policy

  • Advise Product Management of defects and provide customer input on suggested improvements


Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, or related areas, or equivalent education and/or experience

  • One to Three years of professional service and technical systems deployments

  • Must have strong troubleshooting, networking, systems integration or data security skills

  • Software system component integration

  • Computer system hardware and architecture

  • Scripting experience with VB, Perl, and Batch scripting; JAVA is a plus

  • Reading event Logs

  • ATM knowledge and field service experience a plus

  • Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and motivation skills with the ability to work in team

  • Other duties or assignments as required
