As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will manage all of the recruiting activities for Diebold Nixdorf's Co-op & Internship program. You will be responsible for developing recruiting strategies, candidate sourcing, managing the interview process, and providing candidate evaluations and recommendations for hire along with ensuring the candidate is successfully on-boarded.


University Relations Responsibilities: 

  • Administer Diebold Nixdorf’s Student Associate Program including, but not limited to: tracking student progress and performance evaluations, maintaining student associate files, providing employee relations support to managers and student associates.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive campus recruiting strategy at a local, regional and national level.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for both internal and external clients regarding university relations/college recruiting.
  • Remain informed regarding current and future talent needs for major Diebold Nixdorf organizations; conduct research on college and university curricula to support such needs.
  • Manage all campus recruiting events (i.e. career fairs, on campus interviews, information sessions) and related promotions and advertising.
  • Participate in advisory boards and Career Center events to provide input on college curriculum.

Recruitment Responsibilities:

  • Post, update and ensure consistency of all internal and external job postings.
  • Proactively source for qualified candidates to ensure all staffing requirements are met while staying abreast of developing markets conditions and trends.        
  • Conduct initial screening of candidates and moving them accordingly through Diebold Nixdorf's applicant tracking system.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates under consideration to guide them through the interview process.
  • Identify strong diverse talent by designing and executing creative sourcing strategies
  • Network with professional organizations, school chapters and specialty groups to assist in sourcing efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidate searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure company and legal compliance with employment practices.

  • A four year college degree in HR, OD, or business is required.
  • 2- 5 years of exempt level experience in Human Resources, Training, Staffing, Counseling or Higher Education.
  • Prior experience managing a University Relations/College Recruiting program.
  • Minimum two years experience recruiting for technical exempt and non-exempt level positions 
  • Ability to travel 10%-20% of the time required.
  • General knowledge of employment law and hiring practices desired; experience working with, facilitating and/or leading student-based organizations, activities or classes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and be trusted to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Past experience leading and managing projects is required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. 
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Marketing ability, professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience and proficiency using staffing tools such as applicant tracking systems, HRIS systems, electronic job boards and candidate sourcing applications.
